I was here January 24, 2024 - just began my Doctorate Program and his book was the 1st item they provided for me to read. Man was an absolute genius and I am ashamed to say I had never heard of him before.

You have to identify the "sense" behind patterns. And this are not "Ursache->Wirkung"- relationships (Causality). We call it "explain". We need "Mittel->Zweck" - relationships (Finality). We call it "understand". If a bot understand, that purpose A is inherent in Situation S, he can choose an efficient action.
